Nigerian gospel singer Chidinma Ekile has denied rumors of a romantic relationship with her colleagues Flavour and Kizz Daniel.
Recall that Chidinma and Flavour were rumored to be dating in 2013, just a few years after she won Project Fame.
Visitodell reports that apart from Flavour, Chidinma was close to Kizz Daniel at various points before switching from secular to Christian music in 2021.
However, in a recent appearance on Channels TV’s Rubbin’ Minds, the ‘Kedike’ singer denied the rumors, claiming they were false.
According to the singer, such claims are common in the music industry, and she does her best to ignore them.
The host, Isabella Adediji, asked: “You were confronted with a lot of accusations, talking about the whole Flavour, Kizz Daniel [dating rumours]. How do you navigate those rumours?”
Chidinma replied, “Well, stuff like that always happens in the [music] industry. I just try as much as possible to block out the noise and the distractions.”
She also stated that she is not under any pressure to marry and will do so when the time comes.
She said, “No pressure at all. When the time is right, it [marriage] will happen”
