Chelsea have reportedly placed a high price on Armando Broja as Wolves, West Ham, and Fulham show interest in the player.

The Blues are said to be asking for more than £50 million ($63 million/€58 million) for the striker and are open to receiving offers this month. Wolverhampton Wanderers, Fulham, and West Ham United have all expressed interest in Broja, but Chelsea is determined not to let him go for a low price.

According to The Telegraph, Chelsea has set this valuation by considering Manchester United’s £72 million signing of Rasmus Hoijlund last summer as a benchmark. They have also taken into account Brighton’s £100 million (€116m/$126m) valuation of Evan Ferguson. Initially, it was believed that Chelsea would only allow Broja to leave if they signed a new forward, but they may reconsider if a potential buyer is willing to meet their asking price.

Broja has only scored one goal in 13 Premier League games for Chelsea this season. His only other goal in the current campaign was against Fulham in the FA Cup.

Broja, who has scored two goals for Chelsea this season, signed a six-year contract in September 2022. This gives the club flexibility and means they are not under immediate pressure to sell him for less than their valuation. If Broja does leave Stamford Bridge, the Blues are expected to look for a replacement in attack. However, the return of Christopher Nkunku from injury and Nicolas Jackson from the Africa Cup of Nations will provide Pochettino with more options.
