EPL – Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo has praised his teammate Cole Palmer, stating that Mauricio Pochettino’s team has a lot of trust in him.

Caicedo also described Palmer as a highly talented player who is impressing the rest of the Chelsea squad.

Palmer’s move from Manchester City to Chelsea on 1 September came as a surprise, but the 21-year-old has quickly established himself in Pochettino’s starting lineup.

He has already scored four goals in nine Premier League matches this season, including a crucial last-minute penalty that secured a 4-4 draw against his former club, Man City.

“We trust Cole very much. He’s a very talented player and a very good penalty-taker, so we were all very confident when he stepped up,” Caicedo was quoted by Metro UK as saying.

“He is showing his best form at the moment and proving just how good a player he is. We are very happy for Cole and very happy he is playing so well for Chelsea.”
