The Nigerian Army has released Clement Ikolo, the traditional ruler who was previously wanted and arrested for the murder of 17 soldiers in Delta State, on March 14, 2024.
Ikolo, along with seven others, were wanted by the Defence Headquarters for their suspected role in the crime.
Senator Ede Dafianone acted as a surety for Ikolo, leading to his release.
The release took place at Army Headquarters and was announced by Major General Onyema Nwachukwu, the Director of Army Public Relations.
