A visually impaired woman gave birth to twins on Wednesday after her one-year-old daughter, Excel, went missing on November 28, 2023, in Akowonjo, Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State.
The birth of the twins happened just four months after Excel disappeared while playing with her stepsister, Joy.
Allub Times learned that the woman, Agnes Forte, was in the room when the girls were playing in the corridor, but she lost track of them and couldn’t find them.
Despite the difficult situation, Agnes expressed gratitude for the safe delivery of her twins and remains hopeful that Excel will be found.
She said, “I thank God for the safe delivery and the blessings of a set of twins. I am also hopeful that my missing daughter will be found.”
The 32-year-old mother expressed her frustration about not being able to pay the bills from her delivery and mentioned that she was still being kept in the hospital.
“I have not been able to settle my hospital bills. That is why I have been here since Wednesday. My husband has been trying but he is yet to raise the money. The hospital management told us to get the money or they will ask us to sleep on the floor due to bed space,” she said.
