Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the governor of Kogi State, has congratulated Ilebaye Odiniya, the winner of the Big Brother Naija All-stars Season Reality Television Show, which concluded on Sunday.

In a statement released in Lokoja by his Media Aide, Onogwu Mohammed, Bello said Ilebaye’s triumph validated her intelligence, tenacity, and humility.

Ilebaye, a criminology graduate of Salem University in Lokoja, was characterized by the Governor as a true trendsetter and Kogi’s pride.

“I am delighted to congratulate one of our own in Kog, Ilebaye Odiniya, for emerging as the winner of the Big Brother Naija All Stars Season reality television show.

“Ilebaye, you are a trendsetter and Kogi’s pride, who has excelled in both academic and social spheres.

“This victory is a testament to your brilliance, intellect and maturity. Your determination, resilience, and poise set you apart during the three months you spent in the house,” he said.

Ilebaye received 30.8% of the total votes cast, beating out Mercy Eke, who received 23.48%.

Many people were startled by her victory because she was a three-week evictee during her season “Level Up” 2022 and an underdog in the All-Stars season.
