In what looks like a dive into a new career, Nigerian comedian Basketmouth has revealed that his participation in the blockbuster movie ‘Brotherhood‘ was a deliberate move to test and stretch his acting skills.

Despite not being fully immersed in the realm of acting, he expressed a willingness to reenter the cinematic arena if presented with another good script.

In a recent online interview, the comedian confidently declared that 2024 would be a memorable year for him, citing the anticipation of several exciting projects set for release.

Reflecting on his role in ‘Brotherhood,’ Basketmouth shared, “I featured in Brotherhood because I was curious to see if I could pull it off, and I want to believe I did. I just might take a shot at acting again when I get a good script with a daring character.”

Expanding on the upcoming ventures, he disclosed, “I have some exciting projects coming up. My team and I have been working tirelessly for a couple of years now, preparing for 2024. Having been a comedian for 25 years, I believe it is time to explore new opportunities in movies and music.
