Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has hit out at critics who lambasted her after video emerged of her washing her hands with champagne.
In a video shared on her TikTok page, the mother of one was seen cleansing her hands in a champagne bottle at what seemed to be a club.
Angela explained in her caption that, especially during challenging times, she doesn’t feel the need to wash her hands with water.
Facing backlash on social media, Angela took to her Instagram page to address the criticism, asserting that others’ opinions about her don’t matter.
She emphasised her right to post anything on her platform and questioned why her critics appeared bitter, suggesting they might lack love at home or feel intimidated by her.
Regarding the controversial video, Angela clarified that she was merely having fun, and people took it too personally.
She urged those who didn’t like it to move on and stated her decision not to insult anyone further, emphasising her long-standing presence in the limelight and her diverse experiences.
Angela also highlighted her achievements, including over 200 movies to her credit, an album with 10 songs and zero features, and collaborations with A-list artists.
