Bandits have raided a mosque in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State, resulting in the deaths of two worshippers.

Authorities in Kaduna State have not yet confirmed the incident.

However, according to a community leader named Sani Usman, the bandits attacked the Mosque at Anguwar Makera in Kwasakwasa community around 2 p.m. on Friday, shooting at worshippers.

Usman reported that two individuals were killed by the bandits during the assault.

According to reports, Muslim worshippers were attacked while praying, causing others to flee the Mosque.

The attack occurred on Friday, just a day after 287 students were kidnapped by bandits at a school in Kuriga community.

One of the teachers who escaped from the kidnappers, Sani Abdullahi, shared that out of the 287 abducted, 100 were from the primary school and 187 were from the secondary school located on the same premises.
