Agozi Samuel, a Nigerian social media user who previously accused comedian Ayo Makun of engaging in an affair with May Edochie, has issued a public apology to him.

Initially, Samuel aired his allegations in a video posted on his Facebook page, insinuating that AY’s involvement with May led to the breakdown of her marriage to Yul Edochie. He also threatened to discredit AY and exposed purported plans for him to marry May.

In response, AY took legal action against Samuel for defamation, citing damage to his reputation. However, Samuel has since released a widely circulated video on social media retracting his earlier claims and expressing remorse for defaming AY.

He attributed his actions to financial difficulties, admitting that he fabricated the allegations to gain attention and financial support.
