Tinubu Appoints Alake As Spokesman, Ribadu, Others As Advisers

President Bola Tinubu has announced the appointment of eight Special Advisers, out of the twenty that the 9th Senate approved for him last week.

The appointees include Dele Alake as Special Adviser, Special Duties, Communications, and Strategy to the President, according to a statement issued by the State House media office on Thursday.

Others include Mr. Yau Darazo as Special Adviser, Political and Intergovernmental Affairs; Wale Edun, Special Adviser, Monetary Policies; Mrs. Olu Verheijen as Special Adviser, Energy; Mr. Zachaeus Adedeji as Special Adviser, Revenue, and Mr. Nuhu Ribadu as Special Adviser, Security.

As of press time, the State House statement had not indicated whether Ribadu would hold the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) under a new nomenclature or not.

Mr. John Ugochukwu Uwajumogu serves as Special Adviser, Industry, Trade, and Investment, and Dr. (Mrs.) Salma Ibrahim Anas serves as Special Adviser, Health.
