Former Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo became a Saudi King’s Cup winner after assisting Al-Hilal to a penalty shootout victory over Al Wehda.
Al-Hilal prevailed 7-6 on penalties after regulation time finished 1-1.
Ighalo entered the game before the second half began and missed his own penalty kick during the shootout.
The Saudi King’s Cup was last won by Al-Hilal in 2020.
They are the competition’s second most successful team (10 titles), after only Al-Ahli (13 titles).
Ighalo scored two goals in four games in the Cup competition this season.
