Court Remands Binance Executive In Kuje Prison

A Federal High Court In Abuja has remanded Binance executive Tigran Gambaryan in the Kuje Correctional Centre.

He will stay in custody until his bail application is decided.

The judge, Justice Emeka Nwite, made this decision after Gambaryan pleaded not guilty to money laundering charges brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on April 8, 2024.

The judge scheduled a ruling on his bail application for April 18 and set the trial to begin on May 2.
