A fire broke out at the popular Wuse market in Abuja on Tuesday, causing millions of naira worth of damage to properties.
The incident created chaos and traffic jams on the roads leading to the market as people ran for safety.
Security personnel at the market have blocked the entrance to prevent access to the affected area.
Some cars parked at the entrance of the market were destroyed by the fire.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
Firefighters are currently working to extinguish the flames.
