Cypriot First Division club Omonia Nicosia has ended the contract of Akinkunmi Amoo, a former Golden Eaglets winger.
Amoo and Omonia Nicosia decided to end the contract early due to personal reasons.
The 21-year-old signed a three-year contract with the league champions in September 2023 but made only six appearances without scoring a goal.
Before joining Omonia Nicosia, Amoo played for Hammarby IF in Sweden and FC Copenhagen in Denmark.
He also represented Nigeria in the U-17 team at the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Tanzania and later that year at the World Cup in Brazil.
