Davido Unveils N300 Million Yearly Donation To Orphanages Nationwide

Nigerian afrobeat singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed that he will be donating 300 million naira to orphanages throughout Nigeria.

He made this announcement in a post on his social media account on Tuesday, stating that he will provide more information about how the money will be distributed on Wednesday.

Davido and his foundation, the David Adeleke Foundation, regularly give donations to orphanages every year.

He wrote, “I and my foundation pledge the sum of 300 million Naira to orphanages around Nigeria … as my yearly contribution to the Nation ❤️ .. details of disbursement tomorrow.”

Davido has a history of supporting foster homes in Nigeria. In November 2021, he donated N250 million to 292 orphanages to mark his 29th birthday.

Additionally, in July 2023, he gave N237 million to more than 400 orphanages in the country.
