The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of the United States has shared pictures of the location where a helicopter carrying Herbert Wigwe, the CEO of Access Holdings, and several others, crashed.
The tragic incident occurred near Halloran Springs, close to the California-Nevada border.
Unfortunately, the crash resulted in the deaths of Wigwe, his wife Doreen, their son Chizi Wigwe, and Abimbola Ogunbanjo, the former Chairman of the Nigerian Exchange Group.
The NTSB images depict investigators carefully examining the wreckage at the crash site.
Michael Graham, a board member of the NTSB, gave an update on Sunday regarding their visit to the accident site. He outlined the activities that were conducted on the first day of the investigation.
These activities included aerial drone mapping, documenting the site, and thoroughly examining the debris field with the airworthiness group.
The debris field, which was about 100 yards long, contained all the major parts of the helicopter, such as the rotor blades, transmission, engine, tail rotor, landing gear skids, and various avionics components.
