Nigerian boxer Efe Ajagba has moved up to 6th in the world heavyweight rankings for December, according to the latest rankings released by the World Boxing Council.

Ajagba is currently the WBC Silver Heavyweight Champion of the World and is considered a huge prospect in the heavyweight category.

He was formerly ranked 7th in the world and went on to defeat Joe Goodall with a fourth-round TKO at the Tahoe Blue Event Centre in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, just four weeks ago to retain his WBC Silver title.

Cameroon UFC fighter and boxer Francis Ngannou missed out on the top 10 following his debut defeat to number-one-ranked Tyson Furry; he fills the 11th spot.

American boxer Deontey Wilder takes the second spot, while Nigerian-born British boxer and former World Heavyweight Champion Antony Joshua sits in third.
