Lionel Scaloni, the head coach of Argentina, has encouraged Lionel Messi to keep playing for as long as he possibly can.

Messi has not yet made an official announcement regarding his retirement.

At the age of 36, he has just finished his first season with Inter Miami CF in the MLS and is getting ready for his second year in the United States.

“We tell him [Messi] to play for as long as he can.

“He has proved that he doesn’t have an end. You don’t know when he will give [it] up. It’s incredible,” Scaloni told Christian Vieri in a Twitch interview.

Messi recently achieved the remarkable feat of winning the World Cup under Scaloni’s leadership in Qatar, adding to his collection of every major trophy throughout his illustrious career.
