Barring any last-minute changes, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will inaugurate his cabinet on Monday, August 21, 2023, about eighty days after his inauguration.

President Tinubu is now preparing to appoint Ministers to address several of the country’s social and economic concerns.

According to sources close to the Presidential Villa, the President’s plan this week does not include the swearing in of Ministers.

The source confirmed that the offices of the Chief of Staff and the Secretary to the Government of Federation are finalizing plans for the cabinet inauguration next week Monday, as well as a Ministerial retreat where the Ministers will be inducted and sign a service charter pledging to faithfully implement the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
