The Zamfara State Executive Council has approved the retirement of all Permanent Secretaries in the State Civil Service who have not been assigned to a specific post.

The announcement was made in Gusau, the state capital, by the State Commissioner for Information and Culture, Mannir Mu’azu Haidara Kaura.

He mentioned that those affected will receive all their entitled benefits.

Additionally, it was decided that any money owed for publicity by any organization should be paid into the consolidated revenue account.

Kaura encouraged the people of the state to continue praying for divine intervention to bring back peace and stability. He emphasized that without peace, no society can prosper, and the insecurity in the state has impacted all sectors.
