Actor-turned-minister Yul Edochie has issued an apology to his church members after failing to conduct a live broadcast service on Sunday.

This follows criticism sparked by images of him drinking beer with his second wife, Judy Austin.

Netizens had criticized the self-ordained pastor for drinking beer, considering his role as a church minister. Yul Edochie typically hosts his live Sunday service for his True Salvation Ministry but was unable to do so this past Sunday.

He took to his social media platform to express his regret and extend his apologies to his congregation.

Edochie explained that the failure to broadcast was due to unavoidable challenges, which have since been resolved.

In his message, he stated, “Greetings to all members of True Salvation Ministry worldwide. We sincerely apologize for not holding our live broadcast today. This was due to some unavoidable challenges. But they have been sorted out. Thank you for your understanding. See you all in our next live broadcast.”

He reassured members, including new ones, that they could still access previous live broadcasts on his YouTube channel, Yul Edochie TV, and expressed hope for a wonderful and prosperous week for all in Jesus’ name. He concluded with a reminder of the importance of love, a central teaching of God.
