Operatives from Tantita Security Services Nigeria Ltd. (TSSNL), led by Chief Government Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo, have intercepted another vessel suspected of being involved in crude oil theft in Bayelsa State.

This incident occurred shortly after a similar apprehension in January.

The vessel in question, named MT Harbour Spirit with IMO number 8226272, is currently docked at Tantita’s facility in Oporoza, which serves as the headquarters of Gbaramatu Kingdom in Delta State.

This recent development follows the arrest of MT Kali (number 8782800) in January by TSSNL in collaboration with the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

It is alleged that this vessel was responsible for transporting a significant amount of illegally obtained crude oil from the offshore Sokebolou Field base in Bayelsa.
