Oluremi Tinubu, the wife of President Bola Tinubu, is asking Nigerians to be patient with her husband’s administration.
She mentioned that the Tinubu-led government is working hard to leave behind a legacy of prosperity for the country.
Oluremi emphasized that it requires a lot of courage and sacrifice to ensure prosperity for Nigerians.
She made this plea at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Thursday when she met with the senators representing the three senatorial districts in Lagos State.
“The administration of President Bola Tinubu is resolute to leave a legacy for generations yet unborn. This takes a lot of sacrifice and courage,” she said.
Additionally, she reiterated her call for lawmakers to pass laws that impose severe penalties on kidnappers in the country.
The former Senator of Lagos for 12 years urged the lawmakers to take the lead in creating security-related laws to combat the rise in crime.
Earlier, Sen. Adetokunbo Abiru, who leads the delegation representing Lagos East, stated that they visited to show respect to the First Lady.
Abiru, the Chairman of the Southern Senators’ Forum, expressed confidence that President Tinubu’s reforms are on track to strengthen the nation’s economy and ensure lasting prosperity.
