Tinubu Arrives Venue Of G20 Conference In Germany

President Bola Tinubu arrived at the G20 ‘Compact with Africa’ conference on Monday.

The conference is being hosted by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz at the Marriot Hotel in Berlin.

President Tinubu is accompanied by Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, the Minister of Foreign Affairs; Wale Edun, the Coordinating Minister of the Economy and Minister of Finance; Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite, the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment; and Adebayo Adelabu, the Minister of Power.

President Tinubu is attending the event along with other Heads of State and Government from CwA member countries, bilateral partners, and heads of international organizations.

The leaders will discuss ways to improve economic and business cooperation. They will focus on specific actions to increase investments in important areas like energy, trade, infrastructure, and new technologies.

President Bola Tinubu’s efforts to attract foreign direct investment in Nigeria are well-known globally. He will continue to push for more investment opportunities as he leads Nigeria’s delegation at the investment summit.

President Tinubu’s visit to Germany is a demonstration of his commitment to diplomatic reciprocity. This visit is in response to the invitation extended by the German Chancellor, who had previously visited Abuja and Lagos, Nigeria, from October 29 to October 30, 2023.
