The Supreme Court of Nigeria has deferred decision in Atiku Abubakar’s suit contesting President Bola Tinubu‘s election.

A seven-member panel of the Supreme Court reserved decision after the parties in the appeal adopted their separate briefs of arguments on Monday.

Atiku is asking that President Tinubu be disqualification based on the alleged falsification of his Chicago State University diploma.

However, the court held that claims of forgery must be proven beyond a reasonable doubt.
