Ghanaian rapper Black Sherif expressed his delight at Cote d’Ivoire’s victory over Nigeria in the final of the recently concluded African Cup of Nations (AFCON).

He took to his social media handle to revel in the Super Eagles’ loss. Black Sherif stated that he was pleased Nigeria lost because some of his Nigerian colleagues had mocked him when Ghana’s Black Stars were eliminated from the competition in the group stage.

Black Sherif said, “Blaqbonez taunted me on Facetime when my country’s Black Stars were eliminated, and he couldn’t contain his joy. Odumodu spent the next three days on Facetime suggesting that I get the cheapest piece from the Jeweller. And it was I who contacted the Jeweller! Want me to be silent? I’m heading to bed. We’ll face it again this afternoon. SUPER EAGLES! You did this one.”
