Nnamdi Kanu, the imprisoned leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has issued a new command to members of the separatist organization amid speculation about his probable release.

Kanu, who is presently being held by the Department of State Services (DSS), has urged his supporters to keep the course.

Allub Times reports that the IPOB leader issued the command through his special lawyer, Aloy Ejimakor.

In a tweet on Thursday, Ejimakor said he got instructions from Kanu during a regular meeting earlier that day. He stated that the IPOB leader thanked people who had a good influence on his prolonged detention.

“Update: I’ve concluded today’s visitation with Onyendu #MNK. In my company were Barr Mandela and Prince Emmanuel.

“MNK greets the faithful and loyal and directs that all should stay put and stay the course. He’s proud of those that have impacted positively and brought sanity to bear,” Ejimakor wrote on the microblogging platform.
