Miss Nkechinyere Umeh, who scored 360 in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME), has been awarded a scholarship by Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
This is according to a statement made on Tuesday, July 11 by Mr Christian Aburime, Soludo’s press secretary.
Soludo praised Kamsiyochukwu for doing the state proud with her outstanding accomplishment.
Part of the statement read:
“The governor has announced a well-deserved scholarship for her to study any course of her choice at the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University.
“The scholarship will not only serve as a token of the state government’s appreciation for her hard work but also provide her with the opportunity to pursue her dreams and contribute to the development of the state in the future.”
The governor expressed his best wishes to the recipient and urged other young Anambra students to be motivated by Umeh’s outstanding performance. He also urged them to make the most of the state’s improved conducive learning environment and to always strive for excellence.
