After winning the Best African Music Performance category at the just concluded Grammy Awards, South African singer, Tyla, has disclosed her current relationship status, confirming that she is presently unattached.
She attributed her single status to her dedication to advancing her career at the moment.
During a recent interview on Power 96.5 FM in Miami, the singer of ‘Water’ expressed her preference for a partner who indulges in video games rather than one who frequents nightclubs habitually.
When asked by the host whether she would opt for a boyfriend immersed in video games or one who constantly hits the club scene, Tyla decisively chose the former.
Tyla said, “Video games all the way. A club guy? No way! What on earth?” She elaborated further, explaining her rationale: “I would opt for a boyfriend who enjoys video games over one who spends every weekend at the club. At least with a gamer, I know he’ll be home with me. Plus, I’m a homebody myself.”
Regarding her single status, she clarified, “Yes, I am single. I’m not entertaining that aspect of my life right now. My focus is squarely on my career goals.”
