Popular singer Shallipopi, known for his breakout hit “Elon Musk” in 2023, recently shared insights into his early music earnings and his approach to handling criticism.
The Nigerian singer revealed this in a Turntable interview hosted by rapper Odumodublvck.
When asked about his first major purchase after the success of “Elon Musk,” Shallipopi candidly admitted to using the earnings to engage the services of sex workers, colloquially referred to as “oscroh.” Responding to Odumodublvck‘s query, Shallipopi remarked, “I just ate it, normally. I used it to order oscroh.”
Regarding his response to online criticism of his music, Shallipopi emphasized the importance of ignoring detractors and staying focused on personal goals.
He stated, “When my music was being trolled online, I ignored because you don’t have to listen to the naysayers. Just keep doing your thing. Who like you like you, who no like you, no like you. Everybody can’t like you.”
