The Senate has commenced confirmation screenings for Mr. Ola Olukoyede, the nominee for the position of Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

President Bola Tinubu nominated Mr. Olukayode for the to job four months after the suspension of the former head of the anti-graft agency, Mr. Abdulrasheed Bawa.

Tinubu recently approved Olukoyede’s appointment as Executive Chairman of the EFCC, which is subject to Senate approval.
