Manchester City’s winning streak in the Premier League ended tonight as they drew against Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium.

Rodri scored a deflected late goal with seven minutes remaining to secure a point for the champions. Chelsea defended well and played skillfully on the counterattack, making it difficult for City to score.

Both teams had several opportunities to score, but Erling Haaland missed two close-range chances unusually.

Chelsea patiently waited for chances to counterattack and finally took advantage of one just before halftime.

Nicolas Jackson passed to Raheem Sterling, who scored a goal in the far corner. Manchester City will have a game at home against Brentford on Tuesday, while Chelsea will play against Liverpool in the EFL Cup Final on Sunday.
