Rafael Nadal is scheduled to return to tennis later this month, and it has now been confirmed that he will play a pivotal role in the first-ever live match to stream on Netflix.

The 22-time Grand Slam champion hasn’t participated in a competitive match since sustaining a hip injury in January during his Australian Open second-round loss to Mackenzie McDonald.

After undergoing surgery in an attempt to treat his hip issue, he was forced to postpone his plans to play in the 2023 tennis season. He had been hoping to return to the French Open last summer.

He declared he would attend the Brisbane International, which begins at the end of December, putting everyone’s attention on Rafael Nadal as he made his return to the ATP Tour following weeks of conjecture.

It has been confirmed that he has added another date to his calendar for March. He is then anticipated to play at the Australian Open.

A live match between Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz, a Spanish compatriot, will be aired on Netflix on March 3.
