President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has set his first Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting since taking office on May 29 for next Wednesday.

The first FEC will be held following the swearing-in of new ministers into his cabinet on Monday.

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume, and the cabinet office are said to be working on the focus of the first FEC, which would be more like an induction, where President Tinubu is expected to share his priorities under the Renewed Hope Agenda with the new cabinet.

According to Western Post, the FEC meeting may also sanction a Ministerial retreat, which is anticipated to take place immediately after.

Visitodell recalls that the SGF, Senatore George Akume, stated in a statement on Wednesday that the president would swear in the 45 minister-designates who were confirmed by the Senate after being screened on August 21.
