Nigerian street pop artist Portable has strongly reacted to Nollywood actress Laide Bakare‘s disparaging comments, asserting his financial capability to marry her.

Bakare had labeled Portable as a “dirty boy from Sango” during an interview, provoked by some crude remarks made by the singer on her social media platform.

In the interview, Bakare was probed about personal matters, including a contentious issue involving her child being claimed by two individuals.

Expressing her frustration over the lack of response to invitations she sent for her housewarming event in Lekki, she pointed fingers at Portable for making a disrespectful comment on her post, referring to her as a “rich woman.”

In a subsequent video, Portable retaliated, reminding Bakare of her earlier statement about being willing to cheat if her husband does so and cautioning her against negatively influencing his wife.

He vehemently rejected Bakare’s derogatory term of “dirty boy” and confidently proclaimed his ability to afford her, daring her to reveal her husband’s identity.

Portable’s response video was laden with impassioned remarks, underscoring the depth of his reaction to Bakare’s remarks.
