Controversial street pop singer Portable has taken a bold stance against President Bola Tinubu, citing economic challenges as he raises the ticket price for his show from 2.5 million to 3.5 million naira.

In a widely circulated video, the artist expresses his grievances, lamenting the soaring costs of living.

He attributes this financial strain to the policies of the president, particularly regarding fuel pricing, which he claims have driven people to adopt extravagant behaviors.

Portable reveals that he was compelled to increase the ticket price for his show by a million naira, compared to the previous year’s rate of 2.5 million naira, due to the escalating prices of essential commodities like fuel and Garri.

He makes it clear that this decision was made in response to the harsh economic realities facing the country.
