Police Reveal Number Of People Kidnapped At Port Harcourt Airport

The Rivers State Police Command verified the kidnapping of three people along a route heading to Port Harcourt International Airport in Rivers State on Thursday.

The victims were kidnapped late Tuesday on the Obiri Ikwerre Road section going to the airport.

SP Grace Iringe-Koko, the Command’s spokesman, told reporters in Port Harcourt that police were already on the trail of the kidnappers.

“The Commissioner of Police, Olatunji Disu, has tasked our tactical team commanders and the Divisional Police Officers within the jurisdiction to implement adequate security measures.

“These measures have been put in place to ensure that the criminals are apprehended,” she stated.
