One-Storey Building Collapses In Lagos, Baby Trapped

A child was trapped in the debris of a collapsed one-storey building in Lagos State on Friday morning.

The incident occurred in the Ebute-Metta area of Lagos State on Friday, December 22.

Margaret Adeseye, the Director of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, confirmed in a statement that a child and two adults were trapped in the rubble.

Rescue efforts are currently underway, with the search team working tirelessly to locate and free the remaining family members.

Fortunately, one adult female has already been rescued and is in stable condition, providing a glimmer of hope amidst the tragedy.

The State Emergency Response Unit is fully activated and working in conjunction with the Fire and Rescue Service to coordinate the operation.
