The payment for the birth registration certificate was continued for those who carried out the work of registering births. This work was done in collaboration with UNICEF, the National Population Commission (NPC), and the National Service Commission NYSC.

In 2023, UNICEF and NPC partnered with NYSC to register 12.7 million births in Nigeria. This included issuing birth certificates that include the names and nationalities of children under the age of 5. The registration took place in 21 states, 456 local government areas (LGAs), and 4,978 wards across the country.

Payment for the field Adhoc Staff who participated in the exercise is ongoing. We have included screenshots of alerts received by some of the Adhoc staff below.

Congratulations to those who have already received their payment. They have successfully completed their work.
