Nigerian Breweries Plc has once again announced that they will be increasing the prices of their products, following a previous increase just three weeks ago in February.
Recently, the company sent out a notification to all customers in the West Zone regarding the new price adjustments.
As stated in a letter dated Monday, February 12, 2024, the price changes will come into effect on Monday, February 19, 2024, in order to cover the rising production expenses.
The updated prices will be implemented starting Friday, March 15, 2024, as mentioned in the notice.
The reason behind this latest price adjustment is to help manage the increasing costs of production materials.
The statement read, “As earlier informed, we will review the prices of some of our SKUs effective Friday, March 15, 2024. This review has become necessary because of the continued rising input costs and the need to mitigate the impact.
“All open orders in our system at 00.00hrs on Friday the 15th of March, 2024, will be invoiced at the new prices.”
Despite challenges, the company expressed gratitude towards its customers for their loyalty and strong partnership. They also reassured dealers of ongoing support for sales and distribution.
