Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), has stated that he won the Nigerian presidential election in 2023.

Obi made the statement on parallel facts, a Twitter spaces engagement, on Sunday.

However, he claims that the fact that he won the 2023 presidential election cannot be accepted since Nigeria is an unusual nation with unusual people and where unusual things occur.

However, the former Anambra State Governor stated that he is not yearning to be President of Nigeria but rather desperate to see Nigeria function.

Allub Times recalls that Obi finished third in the 2023 presidential election, according to the official results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

He was defeated by the current President of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu, who ran on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and the former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, who ran on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
