The Nigerian Army has said that the findings of its inquiry into the unintentional bombing of communities in Tudun Biri, Igabi Local Government Area, Kaduna State, will be made public shortly.

General Christopher Musa, Chief of Defence Staff, said this on Tuesday during a Channels Television interview, monitored by Allub Times reporter.

He promised that the probe would not be pushed under the rug.

“The outcome of the investigation will be made public very soon. We are sincere and fair; we want to know what truly happened to make amends. I can assure you that nothing will be thrown under the carpet.

“Nigerians must take ownership of the insecurity challenges facing the country.

“We are leveraging technology to end insecurity, especially to avert what happened in Kaduna,” he said.

Allub Times recalls that during the Maulad celebrations in the first week of December, the Nigerian Army accidentally bombed the residents of Tundun Biri.

Nigerians were outraged by the terrible situation.
