The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced that the position of head coach for the Super Eagles is now open.

Jose Peseiro, the previous coach, officially left his role at the end of last month.

There were rumors that the NFF was still in talks with Peseiro, but the recent decision from the soccer organization indicates otherwise.

Coaches who are interested in the position, whether they are from abroad or local, are now invited to apply to the NFF.

Peseiro led the Super Eagles to a second-place finish at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Additionally, the NFF has also declared the position of U-17 coach vacant, with former Super Eagles defender Nduka Ugbade being the most recent coach in charge of the team.
