Despite being heavily linked to a move to the Premier League next month, Serhou Guirassy, a target for Newcastle United, may decide to stay at VfB Stuttgart past January.
With his goal-scoring prowess in the Bundesliga this season, the 27-year-old striker has drawn attention and isn’t anticipated to be in Germany for very long.
In eleven league games played so far this season, he has scored 16 goals, and several Premier League clubs are interested in luring him away from Stuttgart.
Newcastle is a big fan of Guirassy and may make a move. They are expected to conduct business next month because of their injury crisis.
West Ham and Manchester United are also interested in signing him, but reports emanating from Germany say that he hasn’t completely ruled out staying at Stuttgart.
If Guirassy is eager to leave and a club activates his €17.5 million release clause, the German team may not be able to stop him, and the Premier League might be of interest to him.
