Jose Mourinho may have the opportunity to work with Harry Kane again at Bayern Munich, as reports suggest that the Portuguese manager is prepared to replace Thomas Tuchel as the team’s manager.

The recent devastating loss of 3-0 to league leaders Bayer Leverkusen has intensified the pressure on Tuchel, as Bayern Munich currently trails Xabi Alonso’s side by five points after playing 21 games. The defeat on Saturday has allegedly left fans feeling frustrated, as ‘Tuchel out’ posters were spotted on Sabener Strasse.

According to a report from BILD, there are rumors circulating that Jose Mourinho, the former coach of Roma, Chelsea, and Real Madrid, is being considered as one of the top contenders to replace Tuchel as head coach.

The report also suggests that Mourinho is currently learning German and that his name could be on the table if Bayern officials decide to part ways with their current boss.

If Mourinho is chosen, it would mean a reunion with England captain Harry Kane, whom he previously coached at Tottenham, in Germany.

Despite the crushing defeat suffered by Leverkusen and the growing dissatisfaction among their fans towards the German coach, Jan-Christian Dreesen, the CEO of the club, has expressed unwavering confidence in Tuchel. He has made it clear that they have no intention of terminating their association with the former Borussia Dortmund coach.

It remains to be seen whether the 60-year-old coach will eventually take charge of Die Roten. At present, the team’s primary focus is on their forthcoming Champions League round-of-16 encounter against Lazio, scheduled for Wednesday.
