More Trouble As Rivers Assembly Serves Impeachment Notice Gov Fubara

The document seeking Fubara's impeachment was signed by 24 of the 32 members of the Rivers Assembly.

The Rivers State House of Assembly has started the impeachment process against the state governor, Siminialayi Fubara.

Visitodell gathered that the state legislature served Fubara with an impeachment notice after ousting the House Leader, Edison Ehie, who is believed to be on the Governor’s side.

The document seeking Fubara’s impeachment was signed by 24 of the 32 members of the Rivers Assembly.

The lawmakers made the decisions during an extraordinary session on Monday morning.

The unusual meeting took place on Monday between 7 and 9 a.m.
