Gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen have again attacked the Nimbo community in the Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State.

The attack, which took place late Sunday evening, resulted in the loss of life and many others being critically injured.

Sources revealed that the herdsmen attacked mourners at Ugwuijoro Nimbo community, causing great sadness and grief.

Some of the victims were identified as Okeh Simon Ugwu Oruku, Okeh Chukwuebuka, Julius Ogbonna Odiegwu, and Gabriel Ugwor Ezea.

A disturbing video seen by Allub Times reporter on Monday morning showed an empty community, with the voice in the video describing how the attackers surprised the villagers and fired shots at mourners.

Tables and chairs were scattered in the area where the mourners had gathered, with lifeless bodies lying on the ground.

It is important to note that Nimbo was previously attacked in 2016, resulting in many casualties.

This incident caused widespread outrage across the country at that time.
