Katsina Governor Loses Aid In Ghastly Car Accident

Shamsuddeen Malumfashi, a Senior Special Assistant on Islamic Education to Katsina State Governor Dikko Radda, has died.

According to Channels Television, Malumfashi died on Tuesday afternoon in an auto accident near Rigachikun in Kaduna State and was buried at a cemetery outside Kwandala General Hospital in Malumfashi town.

His father, Abubakar Yusuf, and mother, Jamila, as well as three marriages and four children, survive him.

Governor Radda attended the funeral prayer and interment of the deceased on Tuesday, along with the member representing Malumfashi Constituency in the Katsina State House of Assembly, Aminu Ibrahim; the Commissioner of Budget and Economic Planning, Bello Kagara, and several of his aides.

They were welcomed to the deceased’s family home in Malumfashi by Galadiman Katsina, District Head of Malumfashi, Sadik Mahuta, and District Head of Mahuta, Bello Yan Mama.

The deceased’s father and the Chairman of Malumfashi Local Government Area, Maharazu Dayi, were also present to greet the governor.
