Lagos has been added to the list of destinations where American rapper Kanye West will be touring in 2024 and 2025.
Kanye West announced this through a post on his official Instagram story on Wednesday, February 7th.
The announcement came alongside details of his upcoming album ‘Vultures,’ which he will release in collaboration with TY Dolla $ign, as well as the tour lineup. According to the post, Eko Energy City in Lagos, Nigeria, is scheduled for December 14, 2024, while Nyayo International Stadium in Nairobi, Kenya, is set for December 7, 2024.
This marks Kanye West’s second performance in Lagos, with his first being at the 2007 Star Mega Jam. His world tour will kick off on June 22, 2024, in Toronto, Canada, and continue throughout the United States until August.
The tour will then proceed to Mexico, Spain, Egypt, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates before culminating in Kenya and Nigeria in December. In January 2025, Kanye will head to Australia before concluding the tour in Japan in February.
